Saint Patrick's Day Celebration

On the 17th of March it will be Saint Patrick's Day. Because our teacher is from Ireland we are learning about Irish culture. We are learning an Irish dance and an Irish song so that we can celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. It's very difficult and challenging but we are getting the hang of it and it is fun!

Feet First

As part of our Feet First topic we went on a walk to explore the habitat around the school grounds. We saw cicada shells, rabbit holes, ants, sparrows, white butterflies, monarch butterflies, moths, beetles, spiders and webs. We were careful not to harm any living things but we did collect feathers and a cicada shell.

Adjectives

We have been learning all about adjectives. We chose adjectives that describe ourselves and put them together in a huge peacock display. We chose the adjectives that we believe are really true about ourselves and that we are proud of, like playful, helpful, awesome, fast, handsome, great, clever, friendly, nice, sparkly, happy, fantastic, big and lots more. Come and have a look at our peacock. We are really proud of it and Miss Ni Fhloinn is really proud of us!
